JOB TITLE: Skip Tracer

Reports To: Manager of Recovery Performance Operations
SUMMARY:
Responsibilities included data entry to update delinquent or active administrative accounts, communicating with clients to ensure all activities associated with the account are current and updated. Provide skip tracing for repossession & collection of vehicles, order repossessions for delinquency accounts, collection techniques for payoff and recoveries of vehicles, provide resources for debt resolution.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and analyze data, leads, and reports to identify valid locations and contact information on delinquent accounts.
- Making inbound and outbound calls using a defined script at times.
- Create and maintain customer files via data entry.
- Maintain compliance with related laws, regulations and industry best practices.
- Initiates verbal contact with references as needed to identify or verify location of collateral for collection.
- Partners with customer teams and independent agents to develop creative solutions and to achieve results.
- Conduct internet and database searches to identify best known address to locate customer collateral.
- Assume additional duties as needed.
