Millennials Virtual Services (MVS) is expanding our interpreter network in the Tampa Bay, Florida area and is currently seeking qualified Spanish, Punjabi, and Haitian Creole interpreters for ongoing in-person assignments.
We are looking for reliable professionals interested in flexible, assignment-based interpreting opportunities in healthcare and related settings.
Languages Currently Needed:
Spanish, Punjabi, and Haitian Creole
Service Areas:
Tampa and surrounding communities throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, and Hernando Counties. Interpreters who are available to travel to additional nearby areas are also encouraged to apply.
Position Details:
- On-site / in-person interpretation
- Independent Contractor / Freelance
- Flexible, as-needed assignments
- Medical, healthcare, workers’ compensation, and related professional settings
- Pay: $20.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on language, experience, qualifications, and assignment requirements
- Additional assignments may become available based on location, language, and client needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Spanish, Punjabi, or Haitian Creole
- Previous professional interpreting experience
- Medical interpreting experience strongly preferred
- Interpreter training or certification preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and communication
- Dependable, punctual, and able to accept assignments throughout the Tampa Bay area
