Pharmacy Technician
Millennia RX is a closed door, Long Term Care pharmacy looking to hire a motivated, pharmacy technician to join our team. We are willing to train those with limited experience interested in becoming a valued member of the pharmacy profession.
The job functions of the pharmacy technician include, but aren’t limited to:
- Communicate with other pharmacy employees to promote productivity and a positive work environment
- Carry containers of drugs in and around the pharmacy and repackage them for patient usage
- Utilize Framework software to scan barcodes to verify the correct medication is selected.
- Ability to problem solve and possess organizational skills to maintain continuous workflow through the pharmacy.
- Verify delivery tote contents match the packing slip and are ready for delivery.
- Replenish and operate the DOSIS automated packaging machine and Pyxis automated dispensing machine.
- Unit dose medication
- Assure that the pharmacy appearance, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance meets or exceeds company goals
- Complete miscellaneous assignments given by the Director of Pharmacy.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Alabama Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Required)
