Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizza styles, including classic, gourmet, and specialty options, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough rolling, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and kitchen operations
- Serve customers at the counter or dine-in area with enthusiasm, providing friendly and efficient service
- Manage kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, knives, and other culinary tools safely and effectively
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizzas and coordinating delivery or setup
Skills
- Extensive dietary department experience or dietary aide experience preferred for understanding special dietary needs - specifically allergens
- Proven culinary experience in pizza making or other dining environments that require attention to detail
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills for ingredient handling
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering settings demonstrating excellent customer interaction skills
- Deep understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure quality and compliance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, kitchen equipment maintenance, and meal preparation processes
