Key duties include conducting assessments, monitoring student progress, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., therapists, paraprofessionals, and parents), and managing a safe and structured classroom environment. The role requires a deep understanding of evidence-based practices for students with extensive support needs, including behavior management strategies and the use of assistive technology, to foster student independence and academic and functional growth. Our Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a parent-led organization providing support for music, physical education and STEAM education for all five of our schools.
