Your Responsibilities

• Performs necessary cutting insert rotations or changes
• Performs heat shrink tool setting of solid carbide tools
• Sets length and diameter offsets for cutting tools using pre-setter
• Promptly enters tooling data into Tool Tracking System
• Assists in maintaining cutting tool RFID chips and evaluate further implementation of this technology
• Troubleshoots cutting tool issues in collaboration with operators, team leads, and shift leads
• Precision & Accuracy: The ability to perform precision measurements and ensure tools are functioning correctly. 
• Machining Skills: Knowledge of machining processes for repairing and fabricating tools. 
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on tasks to ensure high-quality work and tool functionality. [ZM1] 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3-5 years of combined experience in: machining, cutting tools, tool setting, high volume manufacturing environment
• Familiar with MS Office applications
• Demonstrates problem solving skills and analysis
• Quality oriented & conscious
• Reliable with excellent attendance record

Schedule – Approximately 40-45 hours per week, core hours 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
