Join our team! We have a great opportunity in our Leadership & Learning department with an opening for our Assistant to the Associate Superintendent of Administration.
General Summary :
Assists in the efficient operation of the Leadership & Learning Department and the Superintendent’s Team by providing a wide variety of technical and administrative support to staff and external stakeholders.
Duties include:
- Assists with the planning, logistics, and set up, at a variety of locations, for district professional learning events and superintendent advisory events. (20%)
- Maintains and develops professional learning within our online systems. (10%)
- Manages positive daily communication with staff and external stakeholders with tact, confidentiality, and courtesy. (10%)
- Updates and maintains the Leadership & Learning department's website. (5%)
- Supports the creation of marketing materials / flyers and agendas. (5%)
- Maintains and supports systems such as the Gallup Access database, CPR registration/tracking, and Google-based workflows (EZQuery, AutoCrat). (10%)
- Tracks and monitors department expenses, process check requests, reconcile monthly P-card statements, and manage stipend payments. (10%)
- Coordinates scholarship processes (Title IIA & MEA), including tracking applications, preparing materials, scheduling committees, and communicating results. (10%)
- Supports district initiatives such as the United Way Campaign and non-public school Title fund requests. (10%)
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as needed. (10%)
Special qualities desired of applicants: High School Diploma or equivalent; Good oral and written communication skills. Needs proficient technology skills including experience working with Google Applications (Drive, Docs, and Forms). Needs the ability to create and manipulate data in spreadsheets (MS Excel or Google Sheets). Team player who is adaptable and has the ability to positively work with a variety of people in a variety of settings.
