Under the direction of the Site Principal, provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, following the lesson plans/instructions provided. This role requires classroom management skills and flexibililty.

Substitute Registration & Clearance Requirements Registration and clearance as a certificated substitute with the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE) is required before submitting an application with the Mill Valley School District. MCOE substitute clearance includes: Live Scan fingerprinting Current TB clearance Completion of required mandated educator trainings A valid California teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit For information about registering and becoming cleared as a substitute through MCOE, please call (415) 499-5863 or visit the Marin County Office of Education website. Application Requirements To be considered, please: Submit a completed application. Upload a copy of your MCOE confirmation email showing that you are currently registered and cleared as a certificated substitute.
