Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Event Cleaner to join our team at the Mill Top Banquet & Conference Center in downtown. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of our historic venue, ensuring every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of event spaces, including floors, tables, and restrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the venue’s high standards of cleanliness.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products for different surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles.
- Knowledge of floor care and industrial cleaning techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
