What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef/Cook position at Mill's Tavern & Grille?
Portuguese and European restaurant seeking for a chef that can work in dinning establishment skilled in Portuguese/European cuisine. If not skilled, willing to learn the new dishes that we provide to our customers. Responsible for overseeing all areas of the kitchen operation. 2-5 yrs experience required.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to order
- Evaluate cooked food before serving for quality flavors and appearance by taste and smell.
- Track and monitor kitchen inventory
- Assist with food and supply orders
- Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation in kitchen and food stock areas
- Complete kitchen closing requirements
Skills:
- 2-5 years experience as a Chef/Cook
- Knowledge of preparing authentic Portuguese cuisine OR Willingness to learn
- Ability to prepare quality food consistently in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of Massachusetts health, safety and sanitary regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $35, $50,000.00 per year
