MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Material Handler / Line Puller who is a problem-solver and is excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As a Material Handler / Line Puller, you will play a crucial role in the operation of a laminating machine in a production manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting machine operators by pulling finished material from the laminator, ensuring proper alignment, maintaining production flow, and helping with material handling and quality checks. This position plays a key role in keeping the production line running efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

As a Material Handler / Line Puller, you will play a crucial role in the operation of a laminating machine in a production manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting machine operators by pulling finished material from the laminator, ensuring proper alignment, maintaining production flow, and helping with material handling and quality checks. This position plays a key role in keeping the production line running efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

- Adhere to all safety policies and actively participate in various safety programs and initiatives.
- Follow all GMP requirements in line with the organization's ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, and 22001) and attend ongoing in-house quality education classes.
- Pull laminated material from the laminating machine and guide it through the production process.
- Ensure materials are properly aligned, stacked, or prepared for the next stage of production.
- Monitor laminated product for visible defects and notify the operator or supervisor of any quality concerns.
- Assist machine operators with setup, material changes, and production adjustments as needed.
- Maintain consistent production flow by removing finished product and preventing jams or buildup.
- Label and stage finished materials for transport to the next department.
- Keep the work area clean and organized in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
- Communicate with operators and team members to maintain efficient workflow.
- Pick up waste at each start up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording production information.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with machine operators and supervisors.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime if required.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle production materials (typically up to 40–50 lbs).
- Minimum of 6 months’ forklift experience

Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods for duration of shift.
- Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive Motions: e.g., “Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Visual/Manual Requirements: e.g., “Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.
- Temperature: Work performed in a manufacturing environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes required.
- Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
- Full-time position: Standard schedule is 10pm Sunday night through 6am Friday morning, with occasional overtime as needed.
