How you'll make an impact:
MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Maintenance Technician who consider themselves problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As Maintenance Technician in the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities, equipment, and systems. This role involves routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The technician works collaboratively with other departments to support production goals and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. Strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance are essential for success in this role.

What will you do in this role?
- Ability to interpret product layouts and production specifications.
- Trouble shoot and repair equipment problems.
- Diagnose low and high voltage electrical circuits.
- Maintain, operate, troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley, B&R, GE and Siemens PLC’s and frequency controls.
- Working knowledge of facilities HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Security and Fire Protection systems.
- Able to read and utilize electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain records of repairs & preventive maintenance.
- Requisitions equipment and supplies.
- Anticipate and identify potential problems and communicate appropriate information to direct supervisors, co-workers, and other supervisors to help ensure company delivers on commitments to the customers.
- Mentor manufacturing team members the proper operation and maintenance of the facility equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and well organized. Support department’s 7S processes and quality improvement processes.
- Support department in maintaining equipment per company Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) guidelines.
- Initiates action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute solutions to problems, and verify implementation of solutions. Control further processing when a problem is identified.
- Respect and conform to all accepted safe work practices and standards.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Able to troubleshoot and repair welding, mechanical, fabrication, electrical, hydraulics &, pneumatics problems.
Preferred Requirements

- Technical training or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems
The physical requirements and work environment:
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
- Lifting/Carrying/Bending: Regularly lift, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs, be able to perform work at or near floor level as well as higher levels using ladder or motorized lift.
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.
Environmental Conditions
- Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes required.
- Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
Schedule & Work Hours
- Full-time position; standard schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
