If you enjoy working with your hands, using tools and machinery, and following set processes this job is for you. As Die Cutting Operator in the Die Cutting Department, you will be responsible for supporting our Operations Teams by operating advanced machinery that cuts packaging of varying sizes and shapes. Efficiently operating your machine and maintaining a sharp eye for quality is paramount.

What will you do in this role?
- Set up all sections of die cutter, including the feed, die, counters, stripping and blanking sections.
- Use hand tools to adjust machine controls to correct position and alignment of tooling as needed.
- Execute make-ready production runs achieving proper cutting and registration; operate die cutters in a manner that achieves high quality die cut pieces.
- Perform quality checks in full compliance with all requirements of the quality system.
- Perform routine maintenance, machine cleaning, and preventative maintenance inspections of die cutters.
- Oversee the work throughput and quality of the Die Cutting Assistants assigned to your press machine.
- Identify deficiencies of the die cutter and assist in machine repairs.
- Assess rule, rubber and knick dies.
- Review production progress throughout the shift to measure against daily goals.
- Keep the work area clean and well organized.
- Respect and conform to all accepted safe work practices and standards.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements
- We train on site! Just come with a "can do" attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Adept at working with hand tools.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- GED or High School equivalent
- Possess an ability to work together as a Die Cutting Team and embrace how your job impacts the whole team. You are the person “behind the scenes” making it happen.
- Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position.
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills.
- Able to read and understand job instructions, including custom job requirements.
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day.

The physical requirements and work environment:
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift). Climbing stairs is required occasionally.
- Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.
Environmental Conditions
- Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection may be required.
- Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
Schedule & Work Hours
- Full-time position; standard schedule is 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week, with occasional overtime as needed.
