Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards, particularly in food production and processing settings. We are hiring for one shift in this position:
1) 2:00pm-10:00pm.
Shift flexibility is highly preferred.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleanliness and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Follow established sanitation protocols for food processing areas to prevent contamination.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms and restrooms.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment as needed during cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and food production environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
