Shipping and Receiving Associate

Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, has an opportunity available for a Shipping and Receiving Associate on the first shift.  The right individual will be trained on how to pack and ship product, as well as operate all shipping equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments
• Track inventory counts and check for damages or discrepancies
• Properly account for the location of incoming goods
• Ensure no damaged items are sent or received
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that products in each delivery match the packing list
• Update the product inventory as products are received and added to inventory
• Package products for return to vendors and fill out any necessary paperwork

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Able to use computers for shipping program and the internet
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

 Job Details:

• Reports to Department Manager
• Full-time, Hourly Employee
• First Shift:  8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
• Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
