Job Overview
As a Cabin & Housekeeper you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. You will be a dedicated team member in delivering exceptional service while overseeing all aspects of cabin preperation and housekeeping operations. Your leadership will create an inviting atmosphere for guests, making their experience memorable and enjoyable. You will also be working in one if the most beautiful places Northern California has to offer, with a cool running river right through your backyard, Geothermal attractions inside Lassen Volcanic National Park just 12 min away.
What you'll do
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the cabins and common areas.
- Train, mentor, and motivate other housekeeping staff to uphold our standards of excellence in service and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of cabins to ensure adherence to cleanliness protocols and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available for use.
- Implement effective cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences through seamless communication and teamwork.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cabin cleanliness or housekeeping services in a professional manner.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous hotel experience with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
