Role Description
Mill Creek Renewables is seeking a dedicated Project Safety Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Virginia. The Project Safety Manager will oversee and implement safety programs across construction projects, conduct safety training, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations. The role includes investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure worker safety. Collaboration with project teams to promote a culture of workplace safety and compliance will be a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- 5 years Experience in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety practices
- Proficient in Safety Training and implementing safety programs
- Strong knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and compliance
- Experience with Accident Investigation and mitigation strategies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze safety risks and develop effective solutions
- Knowledge of construction operations and OSHA standards is highly beneficial
- CHST or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
- OSHA 510
- OSHA 500 preferred
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified
