Summary
Mill Creek MetroParks is seeking a Park Planner with expertise in either Landscape Architecture OR Civil Engineering to join our team. In this role you will assist with creating and executing long-term and annual plans while managing and supporting all phases of project design, bidding, budgeting, and implementation, including supervising contractors and internal staff on multiple improvement projects.
Who you are!
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture OR Civil Engineering
- Seasoned project manager with experience leading capital and infrastructure projects from planning and design through bidding, construction, and closeout
- End-to-end project delivery expertise, including cost estimating, construction documents, contract administration, inspections, payroll and prevailing wage compliance
- Strong collaborator and coordinator, skilled in managing consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to achieve consensus and compliance
- Strategic planner with experience in master planning, capital planning, grant writing, and administration of grant-funded projects
- Technically proficient communicator, able to develop presentation-quality graphics, reports, and public presentations using industry-standard design and planning tools
