Mill Creek Lumber and Supply Company has been a trusted leader in lumber and building materials since 1934. As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a Millwork Delivery Helper with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will support our Millwork team by assisting with the delivery, staging, and distribution of millwork products and doors. You will also become forklift certified at Mill Creek to safely move and handle materials throughout our facility.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the delivery and distribution of millwork and doors.

Load, unload, and stage materials for delivery routes.

Operate a forklift to move, receive, and organize materials (Forklift Certification Provided).

Build and assemble millwork material packages by hand.

Receive incoming millwork shipments, verify accuracy, and properly organize products.

Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.

Ensure all materials are labeled correctly and stored in designated areas.

Sort and organize millwork and door products by type, size, and order requirements.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including warehouse and staging areas.

Follow all proper lifting and material-handling procedures.

Report any safety hazards or equipment concerns to the supervisor.

Work collaboratively with drivers, loaders, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.

Communicate effectively with team members to support accurate and timely deliveries.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in a warehouse, lumber yard, millwork shop, or delivery-related role preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification provided by Mill Creek).

Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Basic math skills for counting and verifying materials.

Good communication skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking.
