Door Assembler

Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company, a family-owned business since 1934, is built on a legacy of quality, service, and strong values. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Door Assembler to join our team and support our growing millwork and door operations.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys hands-on work, and values precision. The assembler will be responsible for assembling doors according to exact specifications while maintaining Mill Creek’s high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and prep interior and exterior door units to specification
• Read and interpret work orders and measurements accurately
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all products meet quality standards prior to delivery or installation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and customer expectations
• Assist with loading, staging, and preparing materials for delivery as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in woodworking, millwork, door building, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16 in) and follow detailed specifications
• Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
