Wedding / Event Coordinator On-site

General:

Reporting to the Owner of Mill Creek Lodge at Volland Point, the live-in Caretaker/Event Coordinator is responsible for the lodge / event areas, showing & selling event packages, and providing excellent customer service to guests at the Mill Creek Lodge.

Wedding / Business Meeting / Other Events:

· Communicate with interested individuals and or groups regarding events regarding Mill Creek Lodge

· Give tours and information about Mill Creek Lodge regarding various event packages

· Sell packages, maintain the yearly event calendar, and obtain signed contracts with individuals and or groups

· Communicate with vendors supporting events to inform them of correct use of the property and any requirements for usage

· Provide excellent customer service supporting the events as needed before, during, and after the event

· Document and report all event activities to the Lodge owner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Caretaker required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of post-high school education or experience.
• Previous ranch or rural living experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to run certain electronic devices such as computer or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work long hours during peak seasons, multiple days in a row.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Location: Please note this position will live on-site at the Mill Creek Lodge located near Volland, Kansas. Accommodations are in a one-bedroom apartment. All living costs of the apartment are covered for this position such as: electric, water, trash, internet, phone, etc.

Salary: commensurable with experience and overall skill sets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,250.00 - $2,500.00 per month
