Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Technician to maintain and enhance the beauty of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have outdoor work experience, proficiency in grounds maintenance, landscaping equipment operation, and horticulture. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks, mowing, trimming, and general property upkeep to ensure high-quality outdoor environments. A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
Duties
- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including sit-on and stand-on zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and edging tools.
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and other lawn care tasks to maintain healthy and attractive landscapes.
- Conduct landscaping activities such as planting, mulching, and flower bed maintenance.
- Engage in general property maintenance for both commercial and residential sites.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all outdoor work activities.
- Assist with other groundskeeping duties as needed to uphold property standards.
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and edgers proficiently.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles is desirable.
- Experience with mowing, edging, and flipping edges is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory for transportation between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of property appearance.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as required.
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
