As Maintenance Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming. Your expertise will keep our building’s systems and equipment operating smoothly, supporting both resident comfort and staff efficiency. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building interior systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and facilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Carry out maintenance painting projects to uphold the facility’s appearance and safety standards.
- Use welding skills for metal repairs or fabrication as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or repair roles within healthcare, residential, or commercial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and building interior maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and report on maintenance activities accurately.
- Prior experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), facilities equipment maintenance, and customer service is highly valued.
