The Assistant Director of Nursing plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care within our facility. This dynamic position involves collaborating with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, manage staff, and uphold regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, strategic planning expertise, and a passion for fostering an environment of excellence in healthcare and resident well-being.
Duties
- Assist the Director of Nursing in enforcingt policies that meet healthcare regulations.
- Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and providing ongoing mentorship to foster a motivated team.
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage aligned with organizational budget management and operational needs.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, infection control, and compliance audits to maintain accreditation standards.
- Support educational initiatives by organizing training sessions on best practices, new protocols, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that enhance resident outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws relevant to healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field; current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) is required.
