Job description
Premiere photography studio seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the finance team at our Hollywood facility. This junior-level role primarily focuses on managing the day-to-day accounts payable process using Ramp and NetSuite, while also supporting company personnel processes.
You’ll be responsible for making sure vendors get paid accurately and timely, overseeing expense reports, and pitching in on ad-hoc projects as they arise.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience at a creative company with a lean, collaborative finance team.
What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Process vendor invoices, code expenses, and route approvals through Ramp’s AP platform
- Reconcile Ramp corporate card transactions and follow up with cardholders on missing receipts or miscoded expenses
- Ensure purchasing invoices reflect appropriate sales tax application
- Maintain vendor records in NetSuite, including W-9 collection and new vendor setup
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire)
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end AP close, including accruals and account reconciliationsAssist Human Resources with collecting and processing new hire paperwork (I-9, W-4, direct deposit, policy acknowledgments) and maintaining accurate employee records
Projects & General Support
- Support the finance team on ad hoc projects as they arise (budget tracking, data cleanup, process documentation, etc.)
- Help maintain and improve finance processes as we transition systems and scale
- Assist with audit preparation by organizing AP documentation and supporting schedules
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (internships count)
- Strong familiarity working in Excel
- Experience with NetSuite is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills — you catch your own mistakes
- Clear communicator who’s comfortable following up with people across the company
- Self-starter who can manage recurring tasks independently while also being flexible when priorities shift
- Welcoming, people-first approach with the discretion to handle confidential employee information appropriately
- Interest in growing within finance/accounting
Nice to Have
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business management field
- Familiarity with corporate card programs or expense management platforms
