Classroom Support Teacher – Part-Time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
Hours: Approximately 16–24 hours per week
Milk & Honey Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, flexible, and caring Classroom Support Teacher to join our team.
This is a part-time position for someone who is comfortable working throughout our program rather than being assigned to one permanent classroom. The Classroom Support Teacher will provide coverage and support wherever needed based on enrollment, staffing, scheduled time off, and the daily needs of the center.
Our program serves children from infancy through Pre-K (up to age 5). Applicants must be comfortable and willing to work with all age groups within our program.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing classroom support in infant, toddler, and preschool/Pre-K classrooms
- Following the daily schedule and routine of the assigned classroom
- Supervising children and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Assisting with feeding, diapering, toileting, naps, transitions, and other age-appropriate care needs
- Participating in learning activities, indoor and outdoor play, and daily classroom routines
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness and organization
- Working cooperatively with teachers and management
- Providing additional classroom coverage when needed
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 16–24 hours per week. The position will have regularly scheduled days as well as the opportunity for additional hours based on the needs of the center.
Applicants should have flexible weekday availability. Specific scheduling needs, primary workdays, and availability expectations will be discussed during the interview.
Additional hours may occasionally be offered for staff absences, scheduled time off, enrollment needs, or other coverage needs. Additional hours are not guaranteed.

- Is patient, attentive, nurturing, and actively engaged with children
- Understands that classroom assignments may vary from day to day
Pay: $12.50 per hour
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting different age groups. Classroom placement will be based on the needs of Milk & Honey Learning Academy and may change throughout the week.
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
