Patient Care Support Specialist – Full Time
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and wants to make a difference for patients. As part of our team, you’ll support several departments, from resupply and patient intake to customer service and insurance verification. You’ll be a key player in keeping things running smoothly and ensuring our patients get the care and supplies they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple departments, including Resupply, Patient Intake, Customer Service, Document Management, Insurance Verification, and Sales.
- Process resupply orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with patients to update, change, or complete orders.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, text, and email.
- Create and maintain patient files from referrals.
- Match patient documentation with corresponding files.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility using online insurance portals.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth patient care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
- Great communicator who works well in a team.
- Ability to multitask and switch gears quickly.
- Outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
Preferred but not required:
- EMR experience
- Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA
