We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals across various age groups. This role involves working with children, families, and adults to address a wide range of psychological issues, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention strategies.

Duties

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, including those with PTSD, autism, and other disabilities.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, educators, and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Supervise interns or junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in clinical practices.
• Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and patient outcomes.
• Offer telehealth services to accommodate patients’ needs for remote access to care.
• Provide counseling services within school settings or community programs as required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice.
• Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and crisis intervention methods.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of addiction counseling principles is a plus.
• Experience conducting psychological testing and assessments.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring mental health support.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices related to individual/group counseling.

Job Type: Contract (1099) / Part-Time

About Us:
MILK MedSpa Social Co. is expanding into whole-person wellness. We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to bring a mental health dimension to our mind-body model. You will work with Dr. Jones (MD) .

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy sessions and psychological assessments.
• Integrate care in a mind-body wellness model alongside aesthetics.
• Assist with upselling where appropriate (packages, memberships).
• Work independently in a boutique medspa setting.

Qualifications:

• PhD or PsyD in Psychology, licensed in NC.
• Must provide portfolio, references, licensing, diplomas; background check may be required.
• Comfortable with 1099 contract structure.
• Open to starting small, with potential for expanded hours as the business grows.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
