Installer/Service Technician Apprentice Description
- Serving as a training technician until graduated to full technician status
- Communicate internally with the service manager and service team to keep them updated on project status, workflow, etc.
- Help install both new and used milking equipment on dairy farms
- Perform day-to-day service calls on local dairy farms
- Perform scheduled maintenance on local dairy farms
- Help to diagnose equipment issues and provide a solution to the customer
- Opportunity to learn new technician modules including:
- Refrigeration
- PLC’s
- Conventional milking systems
- Robotic milking systems
- Automation
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Control wiring

Qualifications
- No college education or prior experience required
- A valid driver’s license
- Any mechanical or dairy farming background is preferred, but not required
- There will be a 60-day probationary period
