Are you an experienced painter looking to take the next step in your career? Militello Painting & Powerwashing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team in delivering top-quality residential and commercial painting projects. This position is ideal for someone who loves working in the field but wants to grow into a leadership and management role. You’ll work directly under a Project Manager, learning the ins and outs of scheduling, client communication, and quality control, while still being hands-on with painting as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support 6–10 painting crews by helping with scheduling, materials, and site readiness
- Complete project Kick-Offs, Inspections, and Final Walk-Throughs alongside the PM
- Step in to perform or assist with painting tasks when needed to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager and General Manager
- Help ensure all projects meet Militello’s “5 Star Experience” quality standards
- Learn and apply company systems for project management, safety, and client satisfaction
Ideal Candidate
Background in painting (2 years experience preferred)- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to grow into a full Project Manager role
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
