ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
- Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
- Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
- Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Document in detail product problems and resolutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates or technical degree preferred
- Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other measuring equipment)
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems (ball screws, bearings, gearing, and various way systems)
- Experience in Mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (indicators, micrometers, gauge blocks and optical comparator. Laser Interferometer and ball bar a plus)
