Position Summary
A key component in planning our national defense strategy is being able to capture and interpret information from those who seek to do us harm. As an Air National Guard signals intelligence analyst, you’ll be trained to assess the U.S. aerospace vulnerability to communications collection and exploitation by our adversaries. You’ll also extract, analyze and identify foreign activity and electromagnetic communications emissions and relay your findings to the appropriate commanders so they can respond with the necessary speed, force and precision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Update national databases with findings.
- Operate electronic equipment and computer systems to exploit signal intelligence.
- Use classified reference materials to develop your ability to interpret and analyze signals.

Qualifications
This job requires military service with a contract as a commissioned officer in the Air National Guard. The application is for a specific position within the Air National Guard.
- Have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED.
- Completion of the Electronic Signals Intelligence course
- No record or history of temporomandibular joint pain or disorder
- Successful completion of a polygraph test
- Completion of a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
- Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
