IMMEDIATE NEED
$650 per day PLUS BONUS POTENTIAL
Established Optometry Practice in Marietta, GA.
APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE AN OPTOMETRIST STATE PRACTITIONER'S LICENSE FOR ANY STATE (Optician licenses not accepted).
- Workdays: Mondays and/or Thursdays
- Military Evaluation Services (MES) is facilitating the hiring of a 1099 OPTOMETRIST to perform eye exams for America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's disability claims process (also called Compensation and Pension exams).
- The OPTOMETRIST will conduct a brief interview, review the Veteran's records, perform an eye exam, record the responses and data in a portal, and add a medical opinion (if requested). This process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement).
- The ideal OPTOMETRIST has experience conducting these exams.
- There is no treatment, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.
LIABILITY INSURANCE is covered.
CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete credentialing application within 48 hours.
- Complete VA video module training within 1-2 weeks.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
- Doctorate in Optometry from regionally-accredited school at the time of graduation.
- Current and unrestricted state OPTOMETRIST practitioner's license with no pending criminal case (any state).
- Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet local, state, and federal standards or policies.
