What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterans DENTIST (Lihue, HI) position at Military Evaluation Services?

- Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a PART-TIME 1099 DENTIST Examiner to perform dental and TMD exams for America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's disability claims process (also called Compensation and Pension exams).
- The Examiner will conduct a brief interview, review the Veteran's records, perform the exam, record the responses and data in a portal, and add a medical opinion (if requested). This process provides the support that allows the VBA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement).
- The ideal Examiner has experience conducting C&P exams (not required)
- There is no treatment, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.
CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years dentistry post-graduate experience required.
- Applicants without their own office will not be considered.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
- Dentist degree from a regional-accredited university.
- Current and unrestricted state practitioner's license with no pending criminal case.
- Complete credentialing applications and submit additional documents within 2 calendar days of credentiailng invitation.
- Complete required 12-14 hours of VBA video module training within 2 weeks
- Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.
PAYMENTS are based per case.
