Job Title: Kitting Supervisor
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
SUMMARY
The Kitting Supervisor assists, supervises, and coordinates all activities of associates performing the kitting function at MCF Headquarters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Programs, operates, calibrates, and maintains kitting machinery.
· Fulfills orders of kits of parts
· Maintains the Daily Output Log and Maintenance Log spreadsheet.
· Fills out and conveys the Basket Inventory form.
· Communicates with other warehouse staff and staff in other departments.
· Maintains the warehouse and work areas in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
· Utilizes Microsoft Office, Label View, and Faspac to inquire about kit orders and communicate with internal and external customers.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trains, delegates work, and oversee timely and accurate completion of kit orders.
- Ensures Kitting associates are compliant with MCF standard operating procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

· Good Communication and basic Math skills
· Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
· Ability to calibrate and program packaging machinery.
· Pays strong attention to details, is highly organized, and computer literate.
· Proficiency in an enterprise system, Microsoft Office, and Label Viewpreferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Machine operating and/or machine calibration experience preferred.
· Maintenance, warehouse, and supervisory experience of one year or more
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Forklift certification
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Ability to build rapport with customers and coworkers and to project a calm, positive image while under stress and dealing with difficult problems and people. This job requires daily contact with supervisors, management, employees, and customers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift at least 40lbs.
- Must be capable of walking, standing, and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The distribution center is not a temperature-controlled facility and the noise level in the work environment is loud. Ear protection is provided by the company and is expected to be worn while machines are in operating mode.
During visits to areas of operations an employee may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moderate to loud noise.
