Seeking a Civil Engineer for Consultation on Development of Property in Siler City, NC
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Civil Engineer based in Siler City, NC, requiring at least one site visit and some hours of remote work. The Civil Engineer will be working with the architect and contractors to develop the optimal site layout and foundation design. Key duties will include civil engineering design, stormwater management, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes is a central part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and expertise as a Civil Engineer
- Experience in planning and developing sloped building sites.
- Solid knowledge and application skills in Stormwater Management, Grading, & Retaining Walls.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant tools
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
