DRUG TESTING REQUIRMENTS: This position is subject to PHMSA drug testing in accordance with Milford policies.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a valid driver’s license and must pass MVR requirements in accordance with Milford policies.
BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS: This position is subject to a third-party position specific background check in accordance with Milford policies and procedures.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring customer needs are met. Greets customers in person and identifies rental opportunities. Provides working knowledge of oilfield products to answer customer questions. Creates and/or modifies rental contracts based on customer requirements and drives fulfillment actions. Creates reservations tags as required, performs stock put away as appropriate. Performs check out and return of rental equipment. Verifies and documents condition of equipment and accuracy of rental contracts. Documents and communicates needed repairs to customers with the assistance of Tech level 3. Maintains as organized store and work area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to multitask.
- Addresses customers in person in an appropriate manner.
- Identifies customer needs and works to fulfill their needs.
- Collect customer information at the moment of delivering or receiving rental units.
- Creates and maintains rental/repair orders.
- Identify errors on rental contracts and correct them.
- Invoice completed rental contracts.
- Maintains clean, organized work area.
- Works in a safe manner and ensures safety policies are followed.
- Picks inventory, pulls rental equipment, and prepares merchandise for customer pickup/delivery.
- Prepares outbound shipment documents.
- Inspects and documents condition of outbound/inbound rental equipment together with customer.
- Coordinates communication with customers of related needs – inventory arrivals, repairs required.
- Cycle counts and performs physical inventory as needed.
- Coordinates and documents transfer of material between branches locations.
- Must know how rental unit’s work.
- Load/ unload customers when needed.
- Must be able to travel when required.
- Other tasks assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency of reading and writing of the English language.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Must pass background, motor vehicle history and drug screening.
4. Thorough understanding of stores procedures and policies.
5. Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
7. Willingness to perform all required tasks.
8. Ability to professionally represent the company.
9. Able to work on-call (as necessary and /or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after hours and weekends).
10. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
11. Ability to interact effectively with customers.
12. Ability to work individually and with a team.
13. Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, telehandler)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION:
1. Minimum of one year full time related experience preferred.
2. Must be able to obtain a forklift license within 30 days of employment.
- Must be certified in McElroy fusion for small, medium, and large diameters or ability to pass certifications within 14 days.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. Enclosed warehouse and outdoor storage yard.
2. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
3. Occasional overnight travel
4. Occasional high noise level, dust, fumes such as fuel or exhaust may be encountered.
5. Sometimes exposed to inclement weather while working outside or driving vehicle.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, reach with arms, kneel and push/pull/lift 50 pounds.
2. Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing ramps or stairs.
3. Ability to wear PPE.
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
5. Keyboarding.
6. Standing for extended periods of time.
7. Sitting for long periods of time.
SCHEDULE: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with the ability to work extended hours when required by Shop Supervisor.
