SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION:
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Schools, the Director of Technology is responsible for Departmental operations, district wide technical support, asset management, personnel supervision and infrastructure maintenance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Advanced knowledge of current and emerging IT systems and technologies
Ability to supervise, evaluate and coach staff members with varying knowledge bases
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of K-12 education systems
Effectively and efficiently communicates with diverse groups
Robust written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five (5) years of technology experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable
CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Comp TIA or other equivalent certification
FLSA Status: Exempt
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 12 Months
SALARY RANGE:
$90,000-$110,000 per year
