Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Perform clinical duties such as running CBC's Cholesterol, eyes and ears testing.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical records, and procedural notes in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with medication vaccine administration.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical assisting within diverse clinical environments such as dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or outpatient clinics.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently and accurately.
- Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, X-ray procedures, medication administration, and basic life support certification is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding standards for diagnoses and procedures is essential.
- Prior inpatient or Level I/II trauma center experience is highly desirable; experience working in emergency medicine or surgical settings is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage medical documentation meticulously while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
