What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyperson position at Milford Management?
Luxury residential building located in the East side of Manhattan is looking to fill a skilled Handyperson position with proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will also have at least three (3) years of prior handyperson experience in a residential setting, able to meet deadlines and foster teamwork and positive tenant working relationships. Availability required is Sunday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- General unit and overall building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, cooling & heating)
- Installing fixtures, trim, molding, cabinets, counters, replace lighting, etc.
- Log and update work requests
- Experience working with various construction materials
- Regularly check supply inventory
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Address any safety hazards
- Liaise with building management, contractors and outside vendors, etc.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and in-person requests.
- Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
- Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
- Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
- Complete company required training courses as assigned.
Qualifications:
- a minimum of 3 years prior handyperson experience
