Job description:
Milford Federal Bank is looking for a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor for our Main Office in Milford, MA.
The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of duties to process mortgage and consumer loan applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Order credit reports, appraisals, plot plans, flood certificates and verify employment. Lock customers into rates.
- Process First Mortgage and Consumer Loan Applications, prepare application files for underwriting.
- Report files to closing attorney and perform pre-closing reviews.
- Interview applicants for first mortgage and consumer loans.
- Respond to customer, attorney and real estate broker inquiries.
- Prepare various mortgage reports for Board and management as required.
- Input applications into mortgage software system and run through automated underwriting system as required.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate must be detailed oriented, extremely organized and possess exceptional customer service skills as well as a working knowledge of Computer applications and software. Candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal are required. 1-4 years mortgage loan processing experience preferred.
