Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional care for children in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to thrive.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diapering, and cleaning
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Provide basic first aid when needed
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or childcare settings
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool care
- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively
- Required Trainings: Safe With You, Prepare to Care, First Aid, CPR
- All employees must be fingerprinted and submit the required background checks per Nebraska state licensing requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
