Overview
This is a 10-20 hours-per-week, primarily on-site role for a Marketing Assistant in Clarksburg, WV. Travel throughout North Central WV will be required, and the hours will be flexible. The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team by creating and managing communications and social media to promote the firm's brand and services. Responsibilities include handling day-to-day marketing communication tasks, assisting with content creation, executing marketing strategies, and collaborating with various departments to ensure coordinated and impactful messaging. The role will also involve building and nurturing client relationships through strategic marketing efforts. Minimum starting hourly rate is $15.00.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns across digital platforms including social media, email, and web.
- Support content creation efforts by writing compelling copy for blogs, social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Support advertising sales initiatives by implementing the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Business manager requests.
- Help maintain and update the company website using WordPress and basic HTML coding to ensure content accuracy and freshness with the guidance of the CMO.
- Assist with marketing automation tasks such as email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing workflows.
- Learn to understand the performance marketing indicators by following ad campaign reports on platforms like Facebook Advertising and Google AdWords.
- Support budgeting processes for marketing projects and track expenses to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate with product management teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches and updates.
