Director of Residential Operations and Programs
Lead safe, person-centered residential services that help people thrive.
Milestones Services is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to oversee our residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Director will lead daily operations, staffing, quality, compliance, client transitions, and program growth across staffed residential homes, family home provider settings, and independent living services.
What You’ll Do- Lead daily residential operations and ensure safe, reliable, person-centered services.
- Supervise and support residential leaders, employees, and contractors.
- Maintain staffing coverage, strong training practices, and leadership accountability.
- Ensure sites, records, medications, incidents, and service documentation remain compliant and inspection-ready.
- Manage client admissions, placements, moves, and transitions in partnership with families and support teams.
- Monitor performance, resolve service concerns, and drive quality improvement.
- Support the opening and growth of new residential sites and programs.
- Participate in the residential leadership on-call rotation.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, health care administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Three or more years of leadership experience supporting people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Residential services experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
- A decisive, organized, and compassionate leader who communicates clearly and follows through.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and required automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel between service locations and respond to urgent operational needs.
