What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Milestones Clinic?
We are in search of an enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated individual who is looking to build a career while making a difference in the lives of children on the autism spectrum. RBT certification not required, training will be provided.

Our mission at Milestones Clinic is to provide quality services with a focus on prioritizing autonomy, delivering kind and compassionate care, and disseminating the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
To accomplish our mission, our staff receive a comprehensive in-house training (supplemental to the required 40-hour RBT training) at the start of employment, as well as ongoing training and support from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s). Our BCBA’s maintain low caseloads to ensure quality staff supervision, prompt program updates and modifications, and ongoing family and staff collaboration. All staff are encouraged to attend the annual SCABA conference (registration costs covered by Milestones) to continue to learn and grow within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Our Service Model
We provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic setting which allows for ample supervision, ongoing collaboration & communication amongst staff, and all the resources necessary to complete job responsibilities. Home and community sessions are scheduled as needed which allows for additional training opportunities as well as generalization of skills for our learners and staff.
The emotional and physical well-being of our staff is critical to our operation, and we appreciate the importance of maintaining a work-life balance. We encourage honest and open communication regarding scheduling, time off, as well as breaks throughout the day.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1:1 ABA Therapy in a center-based environment for children (ages 2-8) with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Implement individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Collect data daily to monitor progress and effectiveness of individualized plans
- Provide written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals daily
- Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized plans in home & community settings
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with fellow therapists and supervisors
- Ensure the client is in a safe, positive environment throughout sessions
- Participate in team meetings and training workshops

Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to life up to 50lbs
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician OR commitment to obtain an RBT credential
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or another related field is preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and ability to work within a team environment
