Job Overview
Local General Contractor/Construction Manager is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractor contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with various vendors and subcontractors as well as aid existing staff. Construction Background is required, no applicants without industry experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records management systems for all contracts and related documents.
- Oversee contractor management processes, ensuring that all parties meet their obligations.
- Prepare Scopes of Work for all 16 Divisions of Construction, track Submittals, RFI's and Change Orders.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction
- Proficient in AIA document management techniques, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of records.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration across teams.
