Role Description This full-time Field Sales Representative role is a hybrid position based in Jal, NM, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. The Field Sales Representative will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage a sales territory, and build long-term relationships with industrial and commercial customers needing waste management and environmental services. Daily activities include prospecting, conducting site visits, presenting solutions, preparing proposals and quotes, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company standards. The role involves collaborating with operations, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure that services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory requirements. The Field Sales Representative will regularly track sales activities, maintain CRM records, and report on progress toward revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a focus on consultative selling and territory growth.
- Knowledge of environmental services, waste management, or related industrial sectors, and familiarity with regulatory and safety considerations.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including operations teams and client leadership.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan routes, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate documentation and CRM records.
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Proficiency with basic office and productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory on a regular basis.
- Prior experience in field sales, business development, or account management; experience in environmental or industrial services is preferred.
