Who Are We Looking For?
Milestone Education is looking to hire an expereinced, qualified Director to manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and teachers. We are looking for an experienced director and educator who has at least 2 years of management experience in a liscenced childcare facility. This is an exceptionally unique center and we need someone with a commitment to quality and excellence to lead our staff of 50 educators. You must have your director's credentials to be considered for this postion!
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and coordinate curriculum with staff that complies with state and federal requirements
- Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations
- Oversee all operations in the center
- Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development through on-going training and coaching
- Interview, hire and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center's policies
Requirements
- To be at least 21 Years of age
- To have your CDA or a diploma in ECE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude and work ethic
- To have completed the following trainings/ requirements:
- Director Credentials
- CPR and First Aid
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Safe Sleep/ Shaken Baby Syndrome Training
- Annual TB Test and Physical
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
