Who Are We Looking For?
Milestone Education is looking to hire a qualified Director to manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and teachers. We are looking for an experienced educator who has at least 3 years of management experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and coordinate curriculum with staff that complies with state and federal requirements
- Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations
- Oversee all operations in the center
- Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development through on-going training and coaching
- Interview, hire and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center's policies
What You’ll Need:
- To have at least 2 years experience as an Administrator in a liscensed center
- To be at least 21 Years of age
- To have your CDA or a diploma in ECE
- To be capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children
- To complete the following trainings/ requirements:
- CPR & First Aid
- 2 hours of nutrition training
- Sled Catch Background and Central Registry Check
- Fingerprints
- Minimum 15 training hours
- Annual TB Test & Physical
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
