Catering Event Staff

Miles Table Catering is hiring dependable, professional event staff to help us deliver corporate events, cocktail parties, conferences, weddings and private celebrations throughout the Philadelphia area.

Our team does more than serve food—we create organized, welcoming events and earn our clients’ trust through great service, teamwork and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Set up buffets, food stations, bars and guest areas
• Serve buffet meals and pass hors d’oeuvres
• Clear tables and maintain a clean event space
• Replenish food, beverages and service supplies
• Assist with unloading, setup, breakdown and reloading
• Keep kitchens, staging areas and pantries clean and organized
• Communicate with the Event Lead and support the entire team
• Anticipate guest needs and provide friendly, professional service
• Help return and unload equipment at our commissary when assigned
• Adapt between serving, bartending, setup and support roles as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Catering, restaurant, banquet or hospitality experience is preferred
• Reliable, punctual and ready to work at the scheduled call time
• Friendly and professional around clients and guests
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Able to follow directions while also taking initiative
• Available for some evenings and weekends
• Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry event equipment
• Reliable transportation is preferred

Schedule

This is a part-time, event-based position. Hours vary depending on our event calendar and may include weekdays, evenings and weekends. Staff receive event opportunities through our scheduling platform and can accept shifts based on availability.

Pay

• Starting at $20 per hour - based on experience 
• Additional tips when received
• Opportunities for increased responsibility and Event Lead shifts

Uniform

Event staff are expected to arrive in a clean, professional uniform, generally including black pants, black shoes and a company-provided or approved service shirt.
